About Us

Ohenro San

For my graduation film I wanted to create a documentary that I have been planning for years. My love of Japan was to be reflected in this film as it focuses on the Shikoku pilgrimage and the emotional side to the temples and the people who visit
About Us

Fifth Stage

Fifth Stage was a film I co produced in my second year of university. The aim for this drama was to capture the essence of reality and hardship that older people suffer. The film focused on the effects of loss and bereavement in the elder generation.
We worked closely with Age UK to ensure our protagonist was an accurate representation of a man going through the stages of loss. We managed to exceed our crowdfunding target and so managed to donate all profits to Age UK.
The film gained a lot of attention with film festivals that we won Top Indie Film Awards for best Student Film. As well as that, the film was nominated for five other film festivals. We were also one of three nominees for the RTS East Best Film Award.

Main Skills

These are some of the key skills I accel in and would bring to your production

Working in a Team

From the three years I have spent at university working in a team to create films, I have learnt how to organise and guide a team. I am also able to put my personal grievances aside for the sake of the team to allow us to reach the end goal.

Handling Customers

While working as a Production Runner on a feature film I learnt a lot about handling clients. I had to be in contact with multiple companies dealing with contracts and agreements. I had to learn how to adjust my language and tone for each client to ensure I would make the best impression.

Problem Solving

I am used to working in a fast paced environment while under pressure. From this I am able to think of creative solutions to a problem if one arises, allowing the task to commence as planned

I am a very sociable person who finds it's easy to talk to anyone. I am able to hold a conversation with anyone and always come across as a friendly and driven person thanks to growing up in a village pub and watching my parents interact with customers.
